Terms of Sale
1. Parties
The website www.vikingfootwear.com (the “Website”) is a site operated by Viking Outdoor Footwear AS, (the “Seller”), whose registered address is at Brynsveien 16b, 0667 Oslo, Norway, reg.number 992 933 348. The Seller’s VAT number is 992 933 348MVA. The buyer is the person stated as buyer in the Order (the “Buyer”). The Seller supplies the products (“Products”) listed on the Website.
These conditions of sale constitute, together with the Order and the Order Confirmation, the total contractual basis for the purchase (the “Agreement”).
2. Prices
The prices referred to in the Website include VAT but exclude delivery costs. Information about the total amount to be paid by the Buyer, including environmental fees, where relevant, and all other fees and delivery costs, and the purchase specification of each element of the total price, is given in the order (“Order”) before payment is made. In the case of an information error including pricing we reserve the right to cancel an order.
3. Entering into the agreement
The Seller will acknowledge receipt of the Order electronically. All Orders are subject to acceptance by the Seller. As the acknowledgement of receipt is not acceptance of the Order, the Seller will confirm such acceptance to the Buyer by sending an e-mail that confirms that the Product has been despatched (the “Order Confirmation”). The Buyer shall review the Order Confirmation for any non-compliance with the Order both in terms of numbers, type of Product, price etc. Any discrepancy between the Order and the Order Confirmation shall be reported to the Seller as soon as reasonably possible either by filling out the contact form on https://vikingfootwear.com/customer-support or by calling the Seller on +47 22 07 24 00. Once the order has been placed by the Buyer, the Seller is unable to amend, change delivery address or cancel the order.
To the extent permitted by law, the Seller cannot be held liable for and is not bound by writing or typing errors occurring in the communication with the Buyer.
Where the Product is out of stock, the Seller may offer the Buyer information about alternative Products.
In order to be able to shop at the Website, the Buyer must be over 18, legally capable of entering into binding contracts and acting in his/her personal capacity and not in the course of trade. The Seller reserves the right to cancel Orders made by Buyers acting in the course of trade.
4. Payment
The Seller accepts payment from the available payment option selected by the Buyer. The payment options available to the Buyer will depend on the delivery country of the Buyer. The Seller will charge the debit or credit card of the Buyer once an Order has been dispatched. The Seller may decline an Order if a payment is declined by the debit or credit card of the Buyer. Please note, the bank of the Buyer may charge a fee or charge to complete the payment. The Seller has no control over these bank fees or charges, and the Buyer is solely responsible for paying any such bank fee or charge.
To make your Viking payment as easy as possible, you can select from a number of payment options. Among these are several Klarna payment options.
Klarna Pay in 3
With this Klarna payment option you can split the amount of your order into three interes-free monthly payments. The first payment is made at the time of your purchase, with the reminaing two payments scheduled automatically every every thirty days. Your payments are automatically withdrawn from your connected card or bank account according to the payment schedule you have agreed with Klarna. Klarna Pay in 30
With this Klarna payment option you can make a purchase with Viking and pay in thirty days later. Please note, you can incur fees for missed payments and/ or unpaid debts with Klarna. Klarna Pay Now
With this Klarna payment option you can make a purchase with Viking and pay via an online bank transfer. For the full terms and conditions of Klarna Pay Now please log into your Klarna account. The availability of Klarna Pay Now and other Klarna payment options may vary depending on the country where you are based.
5. Delivery
Delivery will be made to the address stated in the Order Confirmation or a parcel shop located near by. The parcel must be picked up at the parcel shop within 7 days from arrival.
All online orders are dispatched within 3 – 7 business days. The date of delivery will depend on the Buyer’s chosen method of delivery and will appear in the Order Confirmation. If more than one Product is ordered, the Seller reserves the right to send the Products in separate shipments.
Please note, carriers are responsible for ordered items once picked up from our warehouse. If there is a delivery delay or not all items are delivered together please first contact your carrier for further information.
Once your online order is dispatched you will receive an email from Post to your nominated email address. This will include your delivery details, tracking number and a link that will allow you to track the status of your delivery. Should this be missing, please check your junk/spam folder in your email. When order tracking is available, the Buyer may be required to consent to third party cookies to access the tracking.

6. Ownership of the product
Ownership of the Product will only pass to the Buyer when the Seller receives full payment of all sums due in respect of the Product. If the time of delivery has arrived and the Buyer fails to have the Product delivered to him after the Product is made available to the Buyer, the Buyer will be responsible for any loss of or damage to the Product.
7. Right of Cancellation
The Seller reserves the right to not accept an order from the Buyer. The Buyer may cancel the purchase of the Product at any time for any or no reason within seven working days, beginning on the day after he/she received the Product. The right of cancellation may be exercised even if the Product is free from defects and either before or after the Product has been delivered. Where the Product has been delivered and the Buyer wants to cancel the purchase, the Buyer must return the Product to the Seller. The Seller will bear the costs of returning the Product and will refund the price paid. When the Buyer returns a Product to the Seller because the Buyer has cancelled the Agreement in accordance with this section 7, the Seller will process the refund due to the Buyer as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day the Seller receives the returned Product.
Return Policy:
We offer a 30-day return policy
If you are not satisfied with your product for any reason, you can return it to us within 30 days of receiving it. We will issue you a full refund for the price you paid for returned item(s). Once your shoes have arrived back to our warehouse, we do require up to 4 business days to process your refund. Once the refund has been processed, you will receive an email notification from our finance team. Dependent on your banks processing time, please allow 1-3 business days for the funds to appear in your account. If you would like a new size or another item, please place a new order in our Webshop.
If you have purchased a Viking product on another website or in a third-party retail store, contact the seller if you wish to return or make a claim. We cannot accept returns, claims or make reimbursements for any product purchased from another website, or in a third-party retail store.
How to return a product:
All returns must be registered online via our return portal. You can find it here
Attach the return label to the outer packaging. Do not write or attach anything else to the shoe box/bag when you return it. You run the risk of the return being refused.
Deliver the package where you collected it.
The best way to know if your return has been received at our warehouse is to retain the NO written on your return slip. You will then we able to check the status of your return through tracking. We do not send an email once the return has arrived at our warehouse, we will only send an email once the return has been processed.
Items may be returned if:
The products are unwashed and unused (you can of course try the item on for fit)
The product is in its original undamaged packing (a carefully opened package is fine)
All tags are attached
The product is complete (e.g. both items of a pair must be returned)
You have kept your proof of postage in case the return is lost in transit
Product not in accordance with order, defective or damaged on delivery:
When the Buyer receives the Product, he/she should examine whether or not the Product is in accordance with the Order and whether the Product has been damaged during transport or whether the Product suffers from defects. If the Product is not in accordance with the Order, has been damaged during transport or suffers from defects, the Buyer must give notice to the Seller in accordance with section 9. The Seller will refund or replace Products which are damaged, defective or not in accordance with the Order on delivery.
Claims in the event of defects of the product after delivery
If at any time after delivery the Product is found to be defective, the Buyer must, within reasonable time after the Buyer became aware of the defect, send a notice to the Seller of the defect. This must be done no later than 14 days from when the defect was discovered by the Buyer. If the product is purchased on Vikingfootwear.com, please register your claim here. Please note we do not handle products purchased from other retailers, these requests should be directed to the retailer purchased from. Where the Product is defective, the Buyer must return the defective Product to the Seller. The Seller shall bear the costs of returning the Product and will refund or replace the defective Products. 8. Personal Information - Privacy
The Seller will process the Buyer’s personal information to comply with its obligations under the Agreement. The Seller will also use the Buyer’s personal information to inform the Buyer of Products similar to those purchased by the Buyer, unless the Buyer tells the Seller that he/she does not want to receive such information.
Where the Buyer has provided his/her prior consent, the Seller may use the Buyer’s personal information for sending the Buyer advertising material or information on the Seller’s Products different from those purchased by the Buyer. Such voluntary and informed consent may be given by the Buyer upon entering into the Agreement.
The Buyer can contact the Seller, either by phone on +47 22 07 24 00 or by filling out the contact form on the customer support page. If the Buyer has any questions about the Seller’s use of the Buyer’s personal information, or if the Buyer wants to withdraw his/her consent for the use of his/her personal information for marketing purposes, access his/her personal information, amend it or ask for its deletion.
The Seller may communicate a change to the Buyer when there is a legitimate interest and the communication is of benefit to the Buyer and has a limited privacy impact on the Buyer.

This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out or in connection with the subject matter of this Agreement will be governed by the laws of Norway.
9. Terms and Conditions Updates
The Seller reserves the right to change and/ or delete a term or condition at any time without prior notice by posting the change on this website. The Buyer understands and agrees the Seller has no obligation to provide prior notice of a change or deletion. The statutory rights of the Buyer remain unaffected by a change or deletion.
