We are proud to be an official partner of Save the Children.
At Viking, our purpose has always been to create a world where everyone can be an explorer. And there’s nothing we want more than to enable this for our youngest explorers. Together with Save the Children, we are able to extend this ambition by supporting access to safe, quality education for children in Mozambique.

Education creates opportunity. It builds skills, confidence, and hope for the future. When children are given the chance to learn, they are given the chance to dream bigger.

Since the early 1990s, Viking and GORE-TEX® have worked together to support an active outdoor lifestyle through reliable, waterproof footwear. By combining durable materials with GORE-TEX® technology, we ensure lasting protection in changing conditions.

The GORE-TEX® membrane is lightweight, breathable, and fully waterproof — keeping feet dry and comfortable, whatever the weather.

Viking was among the first brands to integrate GORE-TEX into footwear. What began as an early innovation has grown into a long-standing partnership that continues to shape how we develop and improve our products today.

KINDERGARTEN PARTNERSHIP

At Viking, we believe every child deserves the same opportunity to explore, play and thrive outdoors – regardless of the weather or their background.

Through our kindergarten partnership programme, Viking outdoor apparel is made available for children to use during their time in kindergarten. Today, we work with kindergartens across Norway and Sweden, with the ambition to expand the programme further.

The programme creates equal opportunities for outdoor play while extending the lifespan of our products. As garments are passed on to younger children once outgrown, they can be used by several children over time – reducing unnecessary consumption and supporting a more sustainable approach to children's outdoor clothing.

Through continuous feedback from kindergarten staff and parents, we gain valuable insights that help us develop outdoor clothing designed for life in kindergarten: active play, every day, in all kinds of weather.

We are proud to partner with Espira Kindergartens, Norlandia Kindergartens, and Barnehagenett. Together, we are creating equal opportunities for outdoor play and helping more children experience the joy of exploring the outdoors.
