ISA TanTec currently has 4 ultra-modern tanneries distributed in the USA, Vietnam, and China, and is committed to environmental excellence and sustainability.

The concept is best described as a high standard of environmental sustainability in the manufacturing process, which is specially designed to reduce and control water, energy, and chemical use in the tanning process. In recent years, they have been globally recognized by the world’s top footwear brands as a supplier of high-quality leathers, as well as acquiring a reputation for reliable services and outstanding corporate social responsibility.

Solar systems 
65% of the energy used for boiling water in the tanning process is generated from solar energy.
Rain Lagoon 
Rain collecting lagoons have been installed to protect local peripheral water sources. They collect 25,000 cubic meters of water annually.
Wind energy 
Modern windmill technology is used in the pumping and harvesting of water from the lagoons.
Bamboo construction 
Bamboo walls promote ventilation and low reliance on electric indoor climate control in warmer climate tanneries.
Natural Light 
The installation of opaque ceiling panels allows the tanneries to use natural light to complement the reduced use of LED lights.
Wetlands Process 
Tannery wastewater is treated and filtered in sustainably designed and regulated wetlands.
