Modern windmill technology is used in the pumping and harvesting of water from the lagoons.</p>

Bamboo walls promote ventilation and low reliance on electric indoor climate control in warmer climate tanneries.</p>

The installation of opaque ceiling panels allows the tanneries to use natural light to complement the reduced use of LED lights.</p>
